SCANGRIP

SCANGRIP began in 1906 as a small blacksmith shop on the island of Tosning (Denmark) founded by Valdemar Jensen. The company gained attention with the invention of the famous SCANGRIP locking pliers. In 1993, entrepreneur Anders Boring took over the company and focused it on a key niche – work lighting, replacing outdated fluorescent lamps with integrated LED technology.The first LED lamp was introduced in 2007–2008, marking the beginning of rapid growth. SCANGRIP quickly became a leading European manufacturer of LED work lights for professionals, offering advanced design and exceptional quality.The company is known for introducing COB LED floodlights that set the standard for the entire industry. In 2021, SCANGRIP was acquired by the Swedish Hultafors Group, which increased its global reach and access to resources compatible with other premium brands in the industrial segment.
