Colourlock – New Leather Care Set

Colourlock New Leather Care Set is a professional set specially designed for the care and protection of new leather (0-3 years old), most commonly used in car interiors and furniture. It combines gentle cleaning and effective surface protection without altering the natural look and feel of the leather.

The set includes a mild cleaner (Mild Leather Cleaner) and a protective product Leather Shield, along with application accessories. The cleaning agent removes dirt gently without damaging the pigmented layer, while the Leather Shield sealant creates an invisible barrier against wear, dirt and staining from clothing (e.g. jeans).

The product is designed for smooth, surface-dyed leathers with a satin/matte finish that have water-repellent properties. Rather than “nourishing” the leather (as with old leather), the set focuses on protecting against friction, dirt and premature wear, which is key for new leather surfaces.

Regular use helps to preserve the original texture and appearance of the leather, while making future cleaning easier and extending the life of the interior. Not suitable for absorbent leathers such as aniline, suede or nubuck.

• 2 viscose cloths
• Foamer Bottle

HOW TO USE COLOURLOCK NEW LEATHER CARE SET

Before applying any nourishing treatment, the leather must be thoroughly cleaned.

Cleaning

1. Fill the empty foamer bottle completely with Leather Cleaner Mild.

2. Apply the product to a sponge, never directly to the leather.

3. Clean the surface from seam to seam.

4. Lightly dampen the included cloth and remove dirt and detergent residue.

5. Let the leather dry completely. If necessary, repeat the cleaning.

Protection

1. Before applying the protector, the leather must be dry, clean, and free of residues.

2. Pour a few drops of Leather Shield onto the included soft cloth.

3. Apply a thin, even layer from seam to seam.

4. Allow the product to dry completely without removing any residue.

5. In most cases, a single application is sufficient. Only repeat on particularly delicate or very absorbent leathers.

Protection Maintenance

1. Leather surfaces subject to heavy use: treat every 3 months.

2. Surfaces subject to normal wear: treat every 6–12 months.
