Koch Chemie RS – Reactivation Shampoo is a specialized acidic car shampoo developed for deep cleaning and restoration of ceramic coatings. Unlike standard pH neutral shampoos, this product uses a low pH to dissolve and remove accumulated mineral dirt such as limescale, salts and fine dust, which over time reduce the hydrophobic effect and “self-cleaning” properties of the coating. It can be used for both manual and automatic washing.

Over time, even the highest quality ceramic coatings lose some of their effectiveness not because they are worn out, but because so-called hydrophilic dirt accumulates on them. This is where RS Shampoo comes into play – its acidic formula breaks down these deposits and “unclogs” the coating, restoring the water-repellent effect and shine.

How to use:

1. Remove dirt by performing a complete wash using a pre-wash.

2. Dilute Reactivation Shampoo:

a. In a bucket at a 1:200 ratio (50 ml of product in 10 L of water)

b. In a foam cannon from 1:20 to 1:50 depending on the pressure washer's flow rate

3. Apply with a wash mitt or via a foam cannon on the still damp surface.

4. Rinse thoroughly to avoid residues or stains.

5. Dry off residual water with a microfiber cloth.
